Junior cotillion in Central Kentucky.

Ballroom dance, social etiquette, and the next step for families exploring Frankfort Junior Cotillion.

Frankfort, Kentucky

Rooted in Frankfort since 1974.

Frankfort Junior Cotillion brings ballroom dance instruction and social etiquette together for middle school students in 6th–8th grade in Frankfort. Established in 1974 and led by owner and director Gina Tate, the program centers on respect, kindness, and acceptance. Families considering cotillion can explore both parts of the experience before deciding whether an upcoming session is a good fit.

Social etiquette centers on consideration for others: introductions, conversation, and courteous interaction. Ballroom dance adds the social experience of learning with a partner. The specific dances, class format, and participation requirements will be shared with the next program announcement.
